An opportunity for unreleased artists to perform in front of a panel of music industry experts who will provide all artists
with valuable feedback on their performance.
Record company A & R managers, artist managers and agents, as well as promoters will be scouting for new talent thus presenting artists with exciting career opportunities.
- Deadline for submission of entries is Friday 17th August at 16h00
- Artists informed of results via phone or email by Monday 20 August
 ENTRY CRITERIA
1. Artist to submit demo recording of ONE original song on CD format
2. Artist to submit profile on self or band and
3. Demo and biog to be submitted to Moshito by no later than Friday 17 August 2007 at 15h00
4. Any genre of music is acceptable
5. Only unreleased artists are allowed to enter
6. Demo CDs will not be the responsibility of the organisers
SELECTED ARTISTS
1. To be available for a performance during Moshito 07
2. To arrive at Museum Africa at least one hour before allocated time of performance
3. Performance is to be no longer than five minutes
4. Artists performing to backing track to advise Showcase Manager on arrival
5. Backline will include a drum kit, bass amp, guitar amp, keyboard, mics for horns, mics for vocals, monitors
6. Artists will not be allowed to bring other backline on stage unless prior arrangements have been made with the Showcase Manager
7. Artists to bring own personal instruments, unless prior arrangement have been made.
