Staffing & Operations

·         Ensure efficient and adequate working space and communication system
·         Ensure bigger working area for additional project staff
·         Implement skills training component at the commencement of the project

Database and Delegates

·         Constantly update data base
·         Encourage national and international participation and introduce travel packages
·         Offer delegates a discounted registration fee for advance payment.  
·         Maintain manual registration process with electronic backup

Venue & Production
·         Review production budget
·         Confirm venue booking as soon as possible 

Conference Content and Programme

·         Where appropriate, consider reducing number of speakers per session
·         Where appropriate, extend duration of sessions
·         Consider appointments of content experts

Exhibition

·         Strengthen Sponsorship participation
·         Explore opportunities to increase subsidies for SMME exhibitors
·         Offer hospitality packages to exhibitors

Events

·         Utilise small venues in Newtown for live performance platforms for South African artists
·         Consider presenting Showcases & Fringe to the public

·         Consolidate website management, content and maintenance
·         Develop and strengthen ‘In the Bag’ component
·         Utilise high ceilings for branding opportunities

·         Consider hosting daily media conferences during event
·         Seek print media partnership
