Dr Zweledinga Pallo Jordan
South Africa's newly appointed Minister of Arts and Culture, Dr Z Pallo Jordan joined the ANC in 1960, eventually leaving the country in 1962 to study and earning a number of degrees – including a post-graduate degree from the London School of Economics. Jordan worked for the ANC on a full-time basis in 1975 and in 1979 he was appointed director of the ANC's first internal mass propaganda campaign. He was appointed head of the ANC's Research Unit of the Department of Information and Publicity in 1980 and played an important role in research for the organisation. Jordan became a well-known personality on South African television as the ANC's main media spokesperson before and during the 1994 elections and was elected to Parliament in April 1994 taking up the positions of Minister for Posts, Telecommunications and Broadcasting and then Minister for Environmental Affairs and Tourism (1996) until his most recent appointment.

Justice Albie Sachs
Justice Albie Sachs was a leader in the struggle for human rights in South Africa and a freedom fighter in the African National Congress who was detained several times by the security police under the Apartheid regime (described in the book, The Jail Diary of Albie Sachs). Since the onset of democracy in the country, Justice Sachs has played a pivotal role in authoring the new constitution and is now a member of South Africa 's Constitutional Court .

Kabelo Mabalane
As one-third of seminal kwaito act, TKZee, Kabelo Mabalane shot to fame on the back of multi-platinum sales, and hit-after- hit. With TKZee no longer a working act, Kabelo has forged an enviable solo career, earning several awards (including the 2004 SA Music Award for Best Kwaito Album for And The Beat Goes On) and continuing to build a career that is admired by many. Factor in Kabelo's strength as a role model for youngsters (he remains drug-free more than a year-and-a-half after entering rehab), his intelligence and understanding of the music industry and you have an artist with a real difference.

Wolfgang Grulke

Currently the CEO of Artspages International AS and a board member of Artspages China, Bach has been coordinating the set-up of a global network of rights holders and the development of a tailored B2B services for securing a sustainable development of the local music and cultural industries.

Keith Donald
Keith Donald is no stranger to South Africa having been actively involved in the Irish Anti-Apartheid Movement. Donald was a member of the Irish Government's Task Force on the music industry, was the Irish Arts Council's first Officer with responsibility for popular music and jazz and set up MusicBase, a resource center for the whole music industry. Currently, Donald is a member of the Boards of IMRO (Performing Rights) and MCPSI (Mechanical Rights), is an active songwriter and established The Rock School, Ireland's first government funded popular performing arts college.

Jeremy Fabinyi
Jeremy Fabinyi is currently the Chargé de Mission, of BIEM (Bureau International des Sociétés Gérant les Droits d'Enregistrement et de Reproduction Mécanique – the international organisation of Mechanical Rights Societies) and Senior Consultant, CISAC (International Confederation of Societies of Authors & Composers), based in Paris . Previous to this, he was (among other positions) Group Management Executive of Festival Mushroom Records ( Australia 's largest independent record company) and Festival Music Publishing and has occupied the positions of CEO of the Australasian Mechanical Copyright Owners Society (AMCOS) and the Australian Music Publishers Association Limited (AMPAL).

Jean-François Michel
Jean-François Michel is currently Secretary General of the European Music Office in Brussels whose main objective is the conception and implementation of a European music policy. He also holds the position of Director of Bureau Export de la Musique Française, which was created at the initiative of phonographic publishers, with the support of public authorities as well as other music trade organisations in France . Michel is an Expert Member of the Haut Conseil Culturel Franco-Allemand (an initiative of the French and German governments), and is also Manager of JFM Consultant (formerly Mediactiv), a company that acts in an advisory role in cultural communication.
